Challenge

QleanAir was best known for its cleanroom technology and hospital-grade air purifiers. Hardly sexy stuff. But as the world emerged from a pandemic, “clean air” wasn’t just functional, it was aspirational. QleanAir needed a new brand story that reframed their industrial heritage as a modern visionary.

My Role

I was brought in as a freelance brand writer to help reposition QleanAir for a post-COVID world. My job was to elevate the story from sterile tech to human benefit without losing the scientific integrity behind the product.

What I Led

  • Brand Language:
    Developed a language system that balanced empathy and expertise to give sales teams and marketers a more consistent voice across Europe, Asia and North America. This language would be executed to their new brand video as well as their global communications materials.

  • Script Writing:
    Together with the film director and producer, I developed the script for the brand overview video.

Impact

Helped QleanAir move from an industrial good to a “mission-based brand” by centering the story on the human impact of their innovation and product portfolio. This brand story was later rolled out across their corporate channels, helping to open up new opportunities.
